IFS has a set of tools to systematize the exchange of information between consultant and customer to define how the customer processes will be documented in IFS. This documentation will have different uses
• Define the scope of the project
• Estimate your implementation effort by distributing workloads between client and external consultant
• Documenting the solution
• Follow the progress of the project and project effort to completion

The IFS methodology sets a straight and secure path for using its tools:
• Define teamwork
• Define project schedule
• Task sharing
It is based on a definition of needs documented in Scope tool, which will generate a prototype to be presented to users and on which their feedback will be collected to adapt needs and definition of IFS operation for these
In parallel, the technical tasks of development and data migration will be developed. IFS has different tools to minimize customized developments.
Once the developments are completed, the users will be trained so that they are able to start the system.

IFS has a complete functionality for its target sectors, which takes the operations (Production, Logistics, Projects) as the center of the company management. Adapting this functionality to each company is a double process. On the one hand, the company understands new ways of performing its processes and adopts the capabilities that IFS offers. On the other hand, it is normal to have to adapt IFS to the essential strategic aspects of each company.
To do this adaptation IFS has two levels of work:
• Meta Data. Level of customization without development, with direct adaptation in each version evolution. It allows you to change fields, screens, processes, …
• Source code. Traditional customization for which we again have two options external development and integration with IFS via Rest Api or internal development.
In our work as consultants we minimize internal developments with the full functionality of IFS, its possibilities of adaptation without development and the capacity of external development.

• Maintenance of equipment and facilities. Based on the data collected from them, preventive maintenance decisions can be made, ensuring greater efficiency and longer equipment life. Possibility of configuring the sensor to trigger alerts, optimizing the maintenance routine, reducing spare parts, increasing the life of the motor and improving energy efficiency.
